RAPSCALLION
Lucas Mollifer is the stuff of legend in Grandony. He and his crew of thieves have swindled some of the wealthiest nobles in the land, and now he’s angling for his biggest score to date: the Duke’s private vault in the Scarlet Keep. But even the location of the vault is a closely held secret, so he will need to play a long game and enter the Duke’s confidence if he’s to have any hope of success. This will call for the thief’s most audacious gambit yet: enter the Scarlet Keep… as the foremost expert on Lucas Mollifer.
Of course, no job goes off without a hitch. As the game of cat and mouse between Mollifer’s crew and the law continues, tensions mount. What are they willing to sacrifice in order to pull off the heist of the century? What lines are they willing to cross? And what is Lucas hiding—even from his own crew?
THE RAPSCALLION INTERLUDES
Return to the world of Grandony and the surrounding lands with these four stories set in the months between Rapscallion and Iconoclast!
In “Prophet,” the crew are working a job on a relaxing riverboat cruise when they encounter a man of faith who claims to heal the sick with the power of his belief. In “Vigneron,” Darren’s new life of peace and solitude is interrupted by a visitor from his past. In “Wildsong,” the bard who sang songs of Lucas Mollifer finds himself in an adventure of his own. And in “Vagabond,” Rennis tries to rebuild his life outside of the Enforcers, but trouble has a way of finding him.
Welcome back to Grandony, where nothing is as it seems and danger lurks around every corner…
ICONOCLAST
Lucas Mollifer and his crew have cheated death after a daring heist and fled the country. With their take from the last job, they’ll be set for life. But they aren’t satisfied with being comfortable. They have a score to settle with the Godling, so they follow him to his home—Trezzia, the City of Heaven, where treachery lurks amongst the canals.
Liberating a demigod’s wealth won’t be easy. Even worse, there’s someone impersonating Lucas in the city, bringing his own brand of bloody mischief. The crew must forge new alliances, think on their feet, and bluff their way through a high-stakes gambling tournament if they want to beat the Godling on his home turf. But how will they deceive a being who can tell if someone is lying at a glance… and who is carrying out a plan of his own?
